Wether you like it or not, startups can merely get a break between rounds of fundraising. DoubleVerify Raises $33 Million on a $200 Million Valuation
Ad verification startup DoubleVerify has raised a fourth round of $33 million from private equity fund JMI Equity and Institutional Venture Partners (IVP). According to Ynet, the deal values DoubleVerify at $200 million. JMI knows quite a bit about display advertising, having bought DoubleClick before its $3.1 billion acquisition by Google.
Venture Geeks Launches New Startup Accelerator Program in Tel Aviv
GeekMedia, the company behind the Israeli blog NewsGeek (Hebrew) has launched VentureGeeks, a new incubator program in Israel, which will provide seed funding and mentorship to Israeli startups. The Tel-Aviv based incubator is meant to serve as an accelerator program for startups, following the model of US based Y Combinator. Startups which are admitted to the program will receive up to $20,000 in pre-seed funding, office space, administrative services and advice from a group of mentors. The cost for startups is 10% of their equity.
Series Seed Documents for Early Stage Startups – V2
Back in March, Andreessen Horowitz and Fenwick & West, LLP published a series of documents that would help structure early stage investments in startups. The documents have since been used in many deals already according to the site, SeriesSeed.
