vccafe is hiringVC Cafe is looking for guest posts and a full time blogger. Let me tell you why it is an interesting opportunity. Israel has the highest number of startups per capita, and the highest amount of VC investments per capita in the world ($142!).  We at VC Cafe have been putting the spotlight on Israeli innovation and VC investments in Israel since 2005, showing that there’s more news to Israel than just the conflict, and highlighting innovation, lessons learned and new opportunities. Whether you are working on startup in Israel or abroad, investing in startups as a VC or ab angel, or just a super talented student in the dorm – VC Cafe is interested!

We invite you to get involved in two capacities:

A) Guest bloggers about tech startups and venture capital in Israel – you are either a CEO of a startup (trying to get the word out there), a ‘techie’ that is tired of seeing everyone make the same mistakes, an ‘expert’ in a topic that would be valuable to the VC Cafe community, or an investor/incubator that has some success factors to share. The posts will appear exclusively on VC Cafe and the writers will get picture bylines, a short bio with a link. No PR firms or shameless self promoters will be accepted.
If you’re interested please send an email with subject line: “guest post for VC Cafe”, along with a short description of what you’d like to write about, in English. this is a non-paid position.
B) Permanent blogger on VC Cafe – You will cover breaking news, conduct interviews, participate in conferences, Tweet, film – you name it. This is a part time position, paid (albeit modestly) and an opportunity to build both your personal brand and VC Cafe’s.

Ideally, you’d be:

  • Crazy about startups and a good writer
  • A ‘people’s person’ with a great level of English (expats welcome!)
  • Not clueless about blogging, social media and SEO

Please apply on the TechAviv job board post.

Israeli startups are never boring, and VC Cafe is a great place to get involved! Look forward to hearing from you.
