Stream Video On The iPhone with The Boxee App? Not Yet…

I was really excited when I heard that the Boxee Remote App was approved for the app store, thinking that here comes streatming video on the iPhone… but I guess I have to be more patient. The new Boxee Remote App is a remote control for your Apple TV, in case you happened to lose the tiny Apple remote.

Boxee Remote offers basic features like Select/Play/Pause as well as the ability to enter text throught the iPhone’s QWERTY keyboard.

The app’s functionality is kind of basic as described by the team, but Avner and the team encourage you to add feature ideas on Boxee’s support page. Note that Boxee is built on open source, so developers are welcome to use the Boxee API and come up with their own features and services.
