VC Cafe Turns Two: a personal invitation to join the VC Cafe Network

VC cafe two yearsIt’s been over two years since I’ve started VC Cafe in December of 2005 with a simple goal in mind- to extinguish the notion that too many dollar bills are chasing too few ideas. Boy what a tremendous ride it has been so far. I’ve talked with dozens of Israeli entrepreneurs and VCs, witnessed the funding of bright ideas and the joy of the exits, but also saw the demise of promising companies.

Along the journey I have refined the goal: VC Cafe is now a platform for Israeli tech startups seeking publicity and funding and a source for VCs looking for deals. VC Cafe has already been an active matchmaker for entrepreneurs and investors alike, and I can’t wait to keep doing it.

Today, I’m happy to have reached a mini personal milestone. I hit 1000 RSS subscribers and almost 1300 unique visitors in one day. I’d like to say THANK YOU, for being loyal readers and for expressing interest in this niche topic that fascinates us. VC Cafe is a labor of love, but I couldn’t have done it without your support.

linkedin.giffacebook logoGiven the growth of VC Cafe, hand in hand with that of the Israeli startup industry, I thought it would be a good time to get to know you, my reader, a little bit better. First, I’d like to invite you to join the VC Cafe Network on LinkedIn and/or Facebook. Joining will allow you to find and connect with others involved in the Israeli startup and venture capital community in many capacities. The goal of this group is to help members connect with one another, accelerate business through referrals and expand your personal network with people who share the same interest in early stage startups.

If you don’t mind, send a short introduction of yourself as applications need to be approved by me manually. Everyone is invited, just click on the link to join: http://www.linkedin.com/e/gis/41522/4A6DBB1308BD

Hope to see you there!

NOTE: You can also join the VC Cafe Network on Facebook.
