VC Cafe Exclusive: Red Herring Global in Seattle, WA

Red Herring GlobalWould you like to meet with the CEOs of the Top 100 Private Companies in the world and the institutional investors who cover them?

I was invited to the Red Herring Global conference in Seattle, Washington this week (Dec 3- 5), to exclusively cover the conference on VC Cafe as a media accredited blogger. Seattle is a beautiful city with an interesting weather: for lack of a better description you can call it ‘liquid sunshine’ – It hasn’t stopped raining since I got here, which surprisingly, didn’t matter.

Red Herring Global is the culmination of a year’s work of scouring thousands of privately held companies from around the world. 200 companies in total were selected as winners in their respective areas (North America, Europe and Asia) and for the first time in Red Herring’s history, the top 100 of those were brought together under one roof in the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle. It’s an invite-only event, reserved for the CEOs of 100 private companies, chosen for their innovation and leadership in the global technology ecosystem.

Over the coming days I’ll be conducting exclusive interviews as well as attending conference events including: Digital Media, Mobile, Globalization in a ‘flat world’, entering the Chinese market and more.

Be on the lookout for my interviews with select CEOs and VCs later this week. Have any questions you want to ask? Don’t hesitate to contact me.

In the meantime, I’ve included a list of the Red Herring Top 100 companies who will be presenting at the conference. I’m also happy to report that there are two Israeli companies in the winner list:
